He has a strict working routine. He follows the same schedule for years. I think this is the only reason for his long novels. Can you imagine he has written 14 novels till now and it takes 3 years to write one novel. He has also written a lot of short stories and essays. If I started talking about his achievements it will take a day longer. His books are bestsellers. I remember reading it somewhere that, by writing, he can dream, without sleeping and it can be seen through his works. I have read only one book and I am totally in love with his work.
I think this was enough praising him. Now let's talk a little bit about the book KAFKA ON THE SHORE. Here are some points I think are worth sharing.
1. I found this novel is more like an abstract painting. Simple yet complex.
2. It has 48 chapters and still, I finish the book in less than 5 days. Now you can imagine how hooked I was with this.
3. I have been trying to keep a track of things but couldn't do it for more than 2 days and then I understand why people say that Murakami is needed to feel not to understand. There are times when I was completely lost in the plot.
4. One does not necessarily like his work. As it doesn't have an ending. It leaves you with questions.
5. Story revolves around two characters one is KAFKA a 15-year-old boy and an old man named NAKATA.
6. The writer makes you enter the world where cats speak, fishes fall from the sky, a gate on stone. The line between dreams and reality seems to be fading between the chapters.
7. I think this is enough talking about the book. Not revealing too much as you will lose interest if you want to read the book.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everybody else forgets."
I do know the answer. But neither one of us can put it into words. Putting it into words will destroy any meaning.
